MARA Camp
January 24, 2009
From what I heard from friends, MARA will be treating its students to a seminar/camp/re-orientation programme next week.
I have yet to received any formal notification from MARA London. Their hardly updated website is not much of help. So, I’ll just wait for SMSA for the details. Heard that it will be held in some inn/hotel in the midlands, and all expenses will be covered. Hoorah for MARA!
I’ll definitely say a yes to it. Heard that Mr Minister will be there, and who would not want to hear what he has to say?

I couldn’t go because of the exam!! Is that a good thing or not? Somehow aku reluctant nak pergi this boot camp kinda thing, initially I thought – tapi duduk in a hotel or so? Macam menarik. Have a good weekend, digesting apa yang nak dicakap tuh. haha.

lol….hehe dont wery shark..maybe just used to British way yg too open about everything.Anyway if the purpose of the ‘BTN’ is actually to brainwash about political issue, i think its too childish. We are grown up already.Dah bleh pilih jalan sendiri.Hopefully they wont give us ‘low value’ speech loaded with bias facts and unknown resources or force or try to threaten us.It just too childish.
The government need a full reformation we cant just agree with every single thing they did.
Org yg tidur bila dibelai makin nyenyak.

I think there is a big difference between being outspoken and actually acting (regardless whether you are doing anything or not). And as far as I’m concerned, the powers that be are not that concerned about the speaking ones – it is the quietly acting, subversive, violent, terrorist… (I’m getting carried away) ones that actually render people wary.
By no means am I implying that you guys are not acting, I am just stressing here that speaking up is actually almost not risky at all. Everyone can speak, and it is a shame when those who can, doesn’t.
Hence, if speaking up, discussing and talking is all that we can do, make it our action, and make it big. =) (Unnecessary reminder: do it at the right place. While making a noise in blogs is good, it is not enough.)
Wish I could go and listen to the wisdom that is awaiting to be bestowed. Peace.

yes speaking up is good and we should speak to convey the truth or at least invite others to ponder.i believe everybody can think reasonably enough at our age.however, speaking in manner of inclining towards condemning a party or an organisation is not helpful to generate thinking. that would generate hatred and what not.make people think, what people feel in their hearts, that is not ours to determine.
pardon me.my two cents worth.

Hmm…since i just done with all the exams.Hence i;m taking all the comment seriously.i mean i view this as something interesting.
“Hence, if speaking up, discussing and talking is all that we can do, make it our action, and make it big”
I do agree with MAY and especially the above phrase.but then looking trough what happen lately, what one or an organization can do often is making an open discussion about certain issue.Hoping that it will stimulate people’s brain generally. And then its up to that individual how to act towards it.
And often the one who speak up is not always the one who make action. But the one who listen and think right after is the one who act towards the issue. But then, no matter who take action towards it, freedom of speech is still something valuable since it does ignite one’s determination to act towards it.
Speaking about action, i rather say it is something complicated to discuss unless one is open about it.And often people choose to be a silence actor.Maybe?
And i think a critical mind wont digest a bias argument far more to speak about it.A bias argument with weak points to support the argument will just shows the speakers’ weakness and yet make one looks awful.pathetic.I believe.huhu =)
